Experimental glass cell

Experimental procedure:
  1. a pH 2 buffer solution is added to the test solution
  2. the cell is filled with the solution
  3. stop flow
  4. a steady state is waited for
  5. UV light is switched on
  6. a new steady state is waited for
  7. calculate and write down the absolute difference, mV
  8. the cell is washed with distilled water
  9. repeat three times from point 1

mV difference, relative to the difference between the two steady-state is related to the analyte concentration.
